COVID-19 update: 9 new cases, 18 recoveries

Kathmandu. Nepal has reported nine new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. The Ministry of Health and Population said that the new cases were confirmed from 4,255 sample tests conducted during the same period.
Likewise, 18 individuals recovered from the flu-like infection in the past 24 hours. With this, a total of 966,674 persons recovered from COVID-19 till today. The recovery rate stands at 98.8 per cent.
Currently, there are 221 active cases of Coronavirus infection in the country.
The Ministry said no casualty was reported from the infection in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, altogether 16,010 people received vaccine against COVID-19 today alone.
