Nine students graduate from The Gestalt Institute Nepal After 7-Year Journey

Kathmandu. The Gestalt Institute Nepal, a pioneer in Gestalt psychotherapy training since 2011, celebrated the graduation of nine students from its fourth batch.
This milestone marked the culmination of a seven year training journey, originally intentended as a five-year program but extended due to the pandemic, which required portions of the curriculum to be conducted online.
The graduation ceremony, held at Sap Falcha, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, brought together esteemed academicians from Tribhuwan University and Kathmandu University, as well as mental health professionals from across Nepal. This cohort’s graduation is a significant moment for the institute, which has trained nine batches of students over the last 13 years and remains dedicated to advancing mental health and well being in Nepal.
With a team of five international trainers and 10 Nepali trainers, all of whom graduated from the institute and completed additional training, the Gestalt Institute has developed a community of over 40 Gestalt practitioners in Nepal. These professionals contribute to the mental health field by working in schools, universities, correction homes, de-addiction centers and various other settings.
