Aam Janata Party insists on cooperation among ‘progressive’ forces
Kathmandu, Aug 27: The Aam Janata Party has called for unified efforts to take the country towards the path of development and prosperity.
The party stressed in a political report presented in the two-day Central Committee meeting that commenced here today. The report highlights the need for the party to focus on strengthening the party’s organization to implement the agenda carried by the party.
The report talks about constitutional provisions, characteristics of political leadership, an analysis of the political, social, and economic situation, and a review of the implementation of the party’s programmes and its movement against corruption.
Addressing the meeting, party Chair Prabhu Sah called on one and all to unite to promote the interests of the nation. “Cooperation is needed among the forces with progressive thoughts who wish to bring change in the country,” he said.
The meeting also extended sorrow over the losses of lives and properties in monsoon-related disasters and various other accidents.
