Foreign Minister Dr. Rana Departs for India

Kathmandu – Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba has departed for India today as part of a religious pilgrimage. Minister Dr. Rana is scheduled to visit the Baba Baidyanath Dham in Jharkhand, India, for prayers and rituals.
Minister Dr. Rana was bid farewell at Tribhuvan International Airport by Foreign Ministry Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and senior officials of the Ministry. Following this, Minister Dr. Rana will participate in the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi, organized by India’s Ministry of External Affairs from March 17.
At the invitation of the Indian government, the Dialogue will be attended by various heads of state and foreign ministers from around the world, including Minister Dr. Rana. The minister is also scheduled to address the event. During this visit, Minister Dr. Rana is expected to undergo a follow-up health checkup as part of her itinerary.
