Hetaunda-Kathmandu road resumes

Bagmati. The Hetaunda-Kathmandu road that was earlier obstructed by landslide has been restored. The Department of Roads removed the landslide debris deposited on the road, allowing it for vehicular movement.
District Police Office Makawanpur’s spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Laxmi Bhandari, said the route was blocked by the monsoon-caused mudslide at Indrasarobar rural municipality-3 in Makawanpur.
Similarly, the Mahadevtar section of the Kanti Highway that had remained obstructed due to landslide has resumed.
